Изпуснах един медальон с ръчно изработен мак от муранско стъкло и две венчелистчета се отчупиха. Ами сега? Какво да правя с това счупено, но въпреки това прекрасно цвете и с оплетената рамка от тел, в която съм вложила часове труд? Отговорите се скатаваха на бюрото ми - намерих подходяща рамка за цветето и подходящо морско стъкло от Сицилия за оплетената рамка.
I dropped a pendant with a handmade lampwork poppy and two petals snapped. What am I supposed to do with a broken, yet beautiful flower and a wire woven frame that took me hours to make? The answers were on my working table - a piece of sea glass (from Sicily, Italy) and wire frame.

Намерих само едно подходящо морско стъкло и то някак не изпъква. Но с подходящи елементи за ръчно изработена верижка ще е по-добре:)
I found just one suitable piece of sea glass and it doesn't stand out. But a handcrafted chain with the right links will correct that :)

Another successful makeover, even though forced! Here is the before picture.
I appreciate your presence of mind in using the wire coils to set the broken flower. The only other way is to heat the petals until you can fuse it to the main flower, but that might damage the flower. I prefer your remedy on the former , anyday.
