You didn't think I was done with this idea, did you? The earrings and pendants were followed by rings and bracelets. This time I kept the design basic.
You know what is more difficult than coming up with a new design? Making a whole series. The euphoria is gradually replaced by back pain and hand stiffness :) But then I go to an art show and the sparkle in the eyes of the visitors brings that pleasant sensation back. Not all, not always, but this is also part of the motivation.
Insted of thinking of it it as a collection, think of it as a range - different pricepoint ranges using the same design, different skill/intricacy ranges (maybe use thinner wire to help with the hand cramps and pain) or a range where it is not al lwire but wire and beads or other easy to use materials. This way you can extend the same material/concept across shows.
ОтговорИзтриванеThanks for the advice, Divya! As much as I'd love to, I'm trying to not use beads because then I'll need a range of colors :) That's why I thought of keeping it basic. But there will certainly be beads in the future of this design. I'm making rings of different sizes and spare links for the bracelet chains for now.
