Вече знаете, че съм скарана с урочетата и резултатът често е под очакванията ми. Това не ми пречи периодично да се пробвам, както с това уроче на Никол Ханна. То е за начинаещи, но не е никак лесно, както установих още при първия опит - висулката ми изобщо не приличаше на оригинала. Повторих, но забелязах, че упорито се придържам към собствената си интерпретация. В този момент осъзнах, че имам пред себе си предизвикателство. И не, не беше да постигна прилика с оригинала, а да правя по една висулка на ден в различен цвят :)
You know about my love-hate relationship with tutorials - most often the result is below my expectations. But I'm not discouraged and periodically try some of them, like this Nicole Hanna tutorial. It's beginner level but not easy - my first pendant looked nothing like the reference picture. I gave it a second try but still went with my own interpretation :) At that very moment I realized there was a challenge in this for me. And no, it wasn't about doing my best to make it look like the original but rather making a pendant a day in different colors :)

In the process, I changed the weave and added dangles. The art lampwork beads - two pomegranate seeds, a rose and pear - are by PetrovnaLampwork. That pear rocks!

I personally cannot follow tutorials to create the exact output and admire those who can do that. but I would like to think that this is a skill as well and an important one as it lets you learn a skill without copying someone else's design. The 2nd piece - red and copper looks like a peacock to me though and its really cool design, so is the green piece with the pear.

It worked in an unexpected way - I had a goal every evening and made 8 pendants! I agree about tutorials - even if I can't reproduce the item, I learn a lot!
