August almost slipped through my fingers, leaving little time for my personal challenge. I was lucky that this video by Kelly Jones Jewellery inspired me to try it right away. For those of you who are wondering what it's all about - this year I've decided to use a tutorial every month.

The pendant is quite slim and delicate regardless of its length - a bit short of 2.5 inches. I was eager to show it off, so no patina yet. It's my first time capturing cubic zirconia (the green crystal bead) and it's so much easier than with cabs. I will definitely add this tutorial to my repertoire. It will look good as a brooch or a pair of earrings, too.
I love the combination raw copper and the emerald green. It looks so warm and bright without the patina.
ОтговорИзтриванеI know, that's why I used a boiled egg on this one :) The patina is not so dark, at the same time it's not going to change color if kept properly in a zip-lock bag. Unfortunately, polishing products start flaking with time, at least according to people on Facebook wire work groups. That's why I try not to use any.
