Този месец доста се почудих с какво да се заема и отговорът дойде от само себе си - YouTube ми подхвърли видео за рисуване на драконово око върху стъклен кабошон. Сетих се, че и такива съм купувала. В процеса на издирването им за пореден път през ръцете ми минаха висулки, капачета и какво ли още не в неприлично големи количества. И ето ви работен проект - префасониране на компоненти за бижута. И понеже доста се забавих с публикацията, вече ги започнах :)
I had absolutely no idea about any working projects in July until YouTube suggested a video on drawing dragon eyes on glass cabochons. I vaguely remembered buying some in the past. My search for them revealed a stash of underused findings that I decided to alter. Hence, the working project - altering jewelry findings and components. And because I procrastinated with this post, some of them are ready:)

As far as dragon eyes, the first experiment was a total failure but I keep trying :)
Оцветих капачета, метални мъниста и висулки с лак за нокти. Ако не ме домързи, мисля да ги покрия с тънък слой бижутерска смола. Нямам представа дали и колко ще издържи лакът, ако знаете - подскажете ми :)
I colored some dangles, donut spacers and dangles with nail polish. I'm planning to brush on a thin layer of jewelry resin on top when I feel like it :) I have no idea how durable nail polish will be - please, share with me any tips you know :)
Clear nail polish works as a good sealant and lasts for atleast a year - which is more than other sealants. But a good brand those and use on small surfaces.
