Започвам годината с работна публикация, но ще кажа две думи и за миналата - продължих с експериментите и фрапантните бижута; доволна съм от личното си предизвикателство; публикувах нови урочета; продължих да измислям начини да стопявам запасите си, но участвах в по-малко базари и то не много успешни. Не участвах в онлайн предизвикателства, а те винаги са ме вдъхновявали и подтиквали да експериментирам. Причината е, че повечето от тях са само във Фейсбук или Инстаграм - скука-а-а!
I'm starting 2022 with a working post but here is a short wrap up of last year - I kept on experimenting and making statement pieces; my personal challenge went pretty well; posted new tutorials; kept inventing new ways to downsize my craft stash but did less craft shows that didn't go too well. Also, I didn't do any online challenges, which is a pity because they have always inspired and encouraged me to experiment. The reason is that most of them are on Facebook and Instagram only and it's boring!

Today, I'm showing some more finished projects from my personal 2021 challenge.
Бях приятно изненадана от този експеримент - притиснах лицевата страна на едни шайби към опаковъчна лепенка и запълних отвора с бижутерска смола и дребни фигурки (има много урочета в YouTube). Отлепих след 24 часа и направо не повярвах колко добре се беше получило. Следващия път ще трябва да подбера по-добре цветовете, но нали се уча :)
This experiment went surprisingly well - I pressed two washers face down onto packing tape and filled the opening with jewelry resin and tiny items (there are many tutes on YouTube). I couldn't believe the result in 24 hours! Next time I will have to better choose my colors but it's a learning curve :)

There were only two reasons I decided to make Christmas ornaments this year - one, I have a craft stash to deal with and two, I wanted to make this paper star for years!

I hope you are having a fantastic start to this new year. Oh yes, challenges were boring this year - repetitive themes and random shares on social media. How I miss the old blog challenges. It is admirable that you are motivating yourself to try new ideas.

Here's hoping we find some new ones that interest us a bit more. Thank goodness you set your own challenges for yourself. Anyway...HAPPY NEW YEAR! I can't wait to see what you've got up your sleeve in 2022.
ОтговорИзтриванеHa, I'm not very strict about my own challenges but sometimes I feel it's better not to waste time on a project that's not worth it. On the other hand, this is a way to impose self-discipline and I'm planning to stick to it :)
