Блогът ми стана на десет години, а аз все още се чудя как започна всичко. Дали е било предопределено или низ от случайни събития? Според мен, по-скоро второто :) Как случайна среща с техниката декупаж доведе до бижута, оплетени с тел, проекти направи-си-сам, урочета и участия в базари? Едва ли някога ще разберем, но се наслаждавам на всеки миг в тази паралелна вселена!
I've been blogging for ten years now and still wonder how it all started. Was it destined or a skein of accidental events? The latter, if you ask me :) How an accidental encounter with decoupage lead to wire woven jewelry, DIY projects, tutorials and craft shows? We'll never know but I thoroughly enjoy the journey in this parallel universe!

My very first wire woven sea glass pendant - I constructed the frame completely on my own!
I started making wire woven jewelry because of my love for sea glass. RozantiQJewelry has two signature designs - Kukeri Mask and Third Eye pendants. I still prefer sea glass for the Kukeri pendants.

Dear Rozantia, congratulations on the 10th birthday of your blog. I had no idea that what got you into handmade items was the decoupage technique. You seem to master the wire weaving as your pieces are full of detail. I have never seen sea glass in reality, only in photos on the Internet. What I have seen and I have some pieces too, is recycled glass that is made into beads and components. But I digress...

Even though I started with decoupage, I didn't get to the level where you use paints, modeling pastes and other techniques just because I started making jewelry :) I experimented with washi decoupage and resin for jewelry but it didn't work out too well. It might have something to do with washi surface but I haven't figured it out yet :)
