Големите камъни винаги са ме привличали, затова и съм натрупала известни запаси. Не ги ползвам често, защото трябва да измислям специални модели за тях. Днес споделям последния, следствие на неудачна покупка на тънка стоманена тел, която се оказа много твърда. Бързо разбрах, че не става за оплитане на рамка и се наложи да измисля нещо друго. Ето го и "нещото" - фрапантно колие със закалена тел, големи камъни и колкото бях успяла да оплета.
I was always fascinated by large stones and have accumulated a stash. They need special designs, so I don't use them often. I was forced to come up with this one, because I bought thin steel wire that was too hard. Halfway through the weaving I realized it won't work. Some memory wire, extra large stones and the partially woven strip saved the day. The result is this statement necklace.
Второто колие от този модел е в кафяви тонове и за него използвах добрата стара медна тел - мека и податлива.
The second necklace is in brown hues and I used good old copper wire - soft and pliable.

The second piece with sandstones is gorgeous. The wire braid not only elevates the look of the beads , it also provides structure making it look like a torque.
