While quietly purging my craft stash, I uncovered some glass cabochons, painted some dragon eyes on them, made a couple of pendants and thought I was done. Nope, I actually liked it and bought more glass cabochons and nail polish :)
I named this one Fire Walker. This ancient tradition is still alive in Bulgaria and even though I've only seen fire walkers as a tourist attraction, this ritual still exists in some Bulgarian villages. The right to become a fire walker is mostly hereditary, they seem to fall into a trance and some of them even prophesy.
This is how a good plan goes wrong. Instead of purging, I accumulated more stuff. On a positive note, I would've never even thought of trying the dragon eye tutorial if I hadn't bought those cabs (for no reason at all) in the first place :) Or wouldn't have come up with my own dragon eye pendant design - I only used the idea for the base from this video.
I won't consider this a plan going wrong but a new plan developing. The pendants look unique, stunning and would make great jewellery.
Thank you, Divya! I do like how they turned out but also feel some guilt for stocking on new stuff before getting rid of the unused stash :) On the other hand, I somehow knew this could happen :)
